God and Jesus sit on thrones on the baptismal balcony and watch the people praying below for the first two thirds of the drama.
Then at a specific point Jesus gives his crown to God and exits, races
down the stairs behind the scenes, and come up onstage, looks at the 4
people praying, looks up at the life size cross, and goes up to it and
holds out his arms on it as if nailed to it, and bows his head and dies
at the end of the music.
The goal of the drama is to show many
have unanswered prayers, of various extremes, that you would think God
should answer, but doesn’t, but Jesus came and died for us to fix the
ultimate problem causing those struggles.
